9pm, study hour in the night before bed. Power goes off, and a huge shout of joy from students. Teacher follows with a shout too, but to keep the boys quiet. And next minute, only one wish by all students in the classroom, generator shouldn't work so that they're allowed to go to bed immediately. A short scene from my life in boarding school.
Last night, I was reading a book deeply interested, power goes off. And then, I hear children in the building and colony shouting with joy, cracking jokes. That's when I recalled the above said scene. There were days I badly wanted a power-cut, days when there were no responsibilities, days when there were no hard deadlines at work :)
